Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 05:00PM Michelle wanted some more traditional portraits with her husband Mark also. We met at my studio and shot this set. The baby is due next week. Best wishes Michelle and Mark.

Friday, November 13, 2009 at 03:58PM My last photos of Michelle were in a wedding dress. She emailed me and asked if I would shoot her maternity set. This was so cool because I've wanted to do a maternity set for some time. I think it is a big challenge and I love a challenge. We met near the Salt Aire at the Great Salt Lake and walked out onto the beach. When the sun is this low in the sky you have to work fast because the light is going fast.

This was acutally just a test shot to check the lighting balance, but any shot you try to make look good.
In this next photo, Michelle's husband was helping out by holding the sheet.

This is my favorite of the set.
For this photo, we flew Michelle to the moon. Best wishes to Mark and Michelle with their first baby.

Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 01:54PM A colleague of mine recently asked me to take a new portrait of her. Kathy is a teacher of special needs students and also works at Snow Bird in Alta Utah. She skies and loves being a pretty natural person. The care she gives her students is wonderful. She did not want her photos to look “glamour”, she wanted to look natural. We met for the shoot and here are the results.

Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:33PM Emily contacted me on Facebook and asked me to photograph her daughter for her senior portraits. We met at Wheeler Farm in Murray and enjoyed the fall colors and the wonderful variety of scenery available there. There were so many great pictures that I had a hard time narrowing it down. But here are some of my favorites.

Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 09:58PM Sometimes it is pure blessing to be a photographer (okay, its awesome all the time). Spending a couple of hours with Hannah was cool. She loved posing and we came away with some great photographs of this beautiful girl I'm proud to call my daughter. Hannah is a very inventive sould and love to create and she has an endless imagination. This set was done at Wheeler Farm in Murray Utah.
